Altano is produced by the Symington family, known for their long history of producing Vintage Ports in the Douro, under such labels as Grahams, Warres, Dows and Quinta do Vesuvio. Dark red, a blend of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, with floral and sweet fruity aromas. On the palate sweet cherry fruit, gentle spice with juicy tannins. Medium finish with good balance, needs food to enjoy.

Mooie kleur, zachte smaak, beetje fruitig maar zeker niet te fruitig.
Bijzonder rood wijntje

Good Portuguese reds are some of the worlds most underrated wines. Those from@the Douro Valley, particularly so. This is a cracking example from the Symington family.
