The Vosne-esque Aux Thorey is showing beautifully at age 14, perfumed and seductive with excellent depth and concentration. It’s dark fruited, black tea and spice tinged and laced with minerality. In a great place.

Feb 22nd, 2026Gorgeous wine! Changed so much in the decanter. At first dark with cola like aromas and then becomes so much more elegant, feminine and spice and floral driven. Very Vosne like which is just what I want from NSG 😅

Still quite young. Took about an hour for the vineyard character to take the lead from the winemaker’s signature. Both modes delicious, but the latter is really the distinction one looks for in Burgundy.
