Wacholderberg Weissburgunder

Nose is creamy, opulent and ripe. Background of lean minerals. Nice breadth. Melon and cantelope. So pure. Palate is opulent and ripe with lovely texture and just the right amount of acidity. Very easygoing and delicious. Good concentration and exceptional purity and as it airs out it gets leaner and more acidic. 9.3 for now but can see this going higher. Love how lean and nervy this gets with air. So good. Lime zest and flesh now inflecting on the palate. Zippy, zesty and pure. With air this gains energy and salinity. Amazing intensity.

Very opulent nose. Grapefruit, pineapple and lovely stoniness. Herbal, citrus. Lanolin. Just a wonderful nose. After air this gets gloriously mineral. Elegant, ripe and juicy. Nice tang and tartness on the finish and great persistence. Nice energy and great complexity. Like licking citrus on that has been thrown on a rock by Roger Clemens in his prime. Delicious.

Superbly mineral nose. Lime zest. Lime juice. So refreshing smelling. Palate is deep, rich and energetic. Lovely freshness but definitely has some nice richness as well. Really very baroque. Nice finesse and some apple and pear fruit but extremely mineral. Salty finish. Excellent.

Night 2 notes. One of the best Pinot Blancs I’ve ever had. Nose has deep ripe apple and pear fruit. Nice stoney minerality and a fresh-baked bread note. Deeply flavored yet has good acids and nice balance. Finish is a tad short but is there really a Pinot Blanc that has a long finish? Very nice.

Lovely wine. So pure and clean. Apple and pear on the nose and hint of wildness. So clean. Palate is dazzlingly pure with a hint of creaminess and such lovely acidity. Very complex and good concentration with a terrific and very savory finish. Wonderful.

Perfect with my Pad See Ewe. Fresh, stony, yeasty notes in the nose along with beautifully pure apple and almost ripe peach. Although it’s light it’s got loads of freshness and flavor, with stony, straw-inflected ripe appley fruit. Nice acids in the fresh finish. A fun and undemanding wine.

Finally more open than ever. Soaring aromas. Green apple. Lanolin, very pure and clean. Palate is juicy, nice. Great value. Mineral and complex finish. Nice length.

Gorgeous nose. White flowers, green apple, lush texture, yet lean and mineral on the laser focused finish. Awesome and perfect for summer day drinking.

Big, ripe, chewy. Very clean. Very pure. Apple, smoked pear. Stinky too.

Big ripe nose but backed by mineral. Really mineral, palate is juicy and dense and delicious. Apple, pear, super mineral. High acid yet round and juicy. So clean.
