Dec 11th, 2017This wine needs at least 2 hours of air to begin to show its beauty. Complex, spicy red fruit bouquet is a joy to the palate. The finish is longer than that of most of the great Bordeaux I've tasted over the last year. Great showing.

Still fleshy, fruity and alive. Also medicinal and herbal. I'm not entirely sure why this isn't a bigger thing.

What a blast for 30 minutes!!! Great nose of autumn leaves, tea, leather and dark berries....good acidity too. Why I continue to roll the dice on aged wine from secondary sources.
