A different bottle than the last and while good, it was not up to the same standard. That said, this 1974 grocery store wine is better than many wines in current production. Ripe, spicy fruit. Drinking nicely

Nose is an old port. Funky yet enticing. Color is a mellow tawny. Lovely stewed and ripe red fruits that explode in the palate. TA is still there. Even slight amount of tannins to create a great balance. Mix of chocolate and dried flowers finish the mix.

What a blast for 30 minutes!!! Great nose of autumn leaves, tea, leather and dark berries....good acidity too. Why I continue to roll the dice on aged wine from secondary sources.
