A few days ago we opened the 2018 Susana Balbo Signature Cabernet Sauvignon from Valle de Uco Mendoza. This is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec.
On the nose we have black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, green peppercorns, spice, cedar, chocolate and crushed gravel.
On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, spice green bell pepper, black pepper, minerality and earth.
This is a full bodied wine and has a clean fresh mouthfeel medium+ acidity and medium+crunchy tannins that has a nice long dark fruit spicy finish. Have a nice weekend and do something fun. Stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

TASTE: actually pretty good. Blackberry, cherry, wood ash tannin, balancing acidity. Not as good as I’d hoped, but got it on closeout. 89.

Full bodied Argentine wine, with a nice grippy finish. Aromas of molasses and leather. It goes does smooth and is quite dry.
