Honey, dried apricot, dried golden raisin, red apple, Marzipan, maple syrup, jasmine, white flower on the nose. Slight smoky on the palate, dried yellow fruit carry through, very smooth. A fantastic Japanese whisky.

Deep, round and very soft. Ripe dates. Fun flavors but lacking a clear voice. Had a heavy-handed sugarcane, vanilla sweetness. Not a totally seamless whisky but still enjoyable.

Very good whiskey. Mellow at 21 years. I found it very Scotch like but not experienced with Japanese whisky. Delightful. "When in Rome Do as the Romans!" 158 weeks later on 6th April 2019 I received an email back in Australia offering purchase of a bottle for $2000!!!!! Somebody is making a killing if they are getting people to shell out money like that. I don’t recall paying $100s for a nip in Tokyo.

Deep copper color with thick legs. Concentrated aromas of varnish, fruit cake, white raisins, honey, and Madeira. Round in the mouth, with dried red fruits, dried cherries, marzipan, nutmeg, cocoa, and elegant floral notes. Very light smoked almonds with a couple drops of water. Long, unctuous finish that lasts well over a minute.
