Was looking for a buttery, creamy chard. This isn't it, yet quite pleasant anyway. This is a "quality not quantity" winery, limited to 500 cases...barrel fermented and aged in neutral oak for 12 months. Fragrant honeydew melon, nice citrus and floral notes. I did get a creamy finish though. Very nice for the price, I may have to pick up a few more before this vintage sells out...

It’s important to distinguish that this is the one barrel fermented, aged, sur lie. This definitely captures the complex floral wonder of the first Chardonnay’s I tasted from Sunce back in aught four. It’s so right at the right level with body, florals, sweetness.
