Deep Ruby with aromas of juicy red fruits and baking spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with cinnamon and sweet spice and slight mineral tang. Medium finish, fine tannins, lively acidity ending with fruit and spice, great for drinking now.

It's Friday and I'm Thirsty! Cabernet is in order...

Nice ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Sweet nose of cherries, blackberries, blueberries, figs, cherry pie, oak, vanilla, licorice, red candy, spices, smoke, black pepper, cloves and orange peel.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate, and fruity with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, leather, tobacco, red candy, light vegetables, coffee, chocolates and peppercorn.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.

This Cabernet Sauvignon from Lake County is drinking nicely now. Well balanced with mild complexity. Soft mouth feel with oak and tobacco notes.

Very tasty all by itself or with food. A good sipping wine and pleasant right out of the bottle.

A blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petite Sirah.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Warm baking spices on the nose. Nice structure with pink peppercorn, black fruit and spices. The acidity makes it great with bolognese and Ulu gnocchi.

Here, before you, is my Friday's Cabernet fix. 😃

Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.

Great fruity nose with blackberries, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, leather, earth, spices, peppercorn, light vegetables, coffee, mocha and dark chocolates.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, figs, raisins, smoke, vanilla, wood, spices, leather, earth, chocolates, peppercorn and espresso.

Long finish with firm tannins and black pepper.

This is a great Cabernet Sauvignon from Lake County, California. Balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food, with nice acidity to make it interesting.

Not very complex but enjoyable nonetheless. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up.
Seems like an inexpensive Napa lookalike. Yummy.

Good vintage, but I wish I would have waited it out for a few more, 5 years
