Early in his career, Ernst Storm worked alongside his brother Hannes, who is also a winemaker, eventually leaving South Africa to pursue his career in California, and forming Storm Wines. Aromas of tart fruits, herbs and spices. On the palate cranberry and raspberry with herb mineral notes. Firm gripping tannins, lingering finish ending with earthy characteristics.

This was clearly California but in a restrained style. Cherries and baking spice. Really great after some air. Please try storm before Sandhi or other rich people’s wines in SB county.
