Medium deep ruby , quite thin ruby rim . Quite animal at first , deep tobacco and quite closed , touch cedar. More cool blackcurrant , blackberry , touch of mint , slightly medicinal . Quite present but fine tannins , balancing acidity . Touches of tobacco , medium bodied and ok length . This probably is better decanted , needs time . Will improve over the next 5 years or so, last a further 5. Tasted 08/09/2022
