Ever so slightly hedonistic, chiming in at 14% alcohol. There's much to enjoy, though, in the way the winemaking and fruit play off each other with age. Nothing remotely tired about it, either - glazed nectarine, lime, grapefruit, butterscotch and a seductive crème brûlée note on the finish, which is long and surprisingly fine. Lovely zing to the acidity, too.

A lovely aged Mornington Chardonnay, nougat and white peach, still great acid.

Good easy drinking but enough complexity to make it interesting.
