Oh my. If you want to know what makes a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc such a specific flavour, try this one. The nose is LOADED with flower shop and the palate introduces all kinds of green grapes and citrus. The acidity is nicely integrated but the tart stands out a bit. Not my favourite varietal, but this is a good expression of it in both terroir and grape.

Great sb from Wairau River. Plenty of grass, funky tart berries, and just like a nosy pepper this wine is jalapeño business 😉 #unfollow.

Sour, extremely bright and acidic. Guava, passion fruit, green apple, underripe mango, hint of green pepper. Great with shrimp scampi.
