Ruination Double IPA

Not kidding around here. A bit too much for me, honestly.

Jan 20th, 2016Decent, if unremarkable DIPA. Tropical hop body with a piney finish. Not particularly well integrated—the finish is somewhat abrupt.

Oct 2nd, 2015After finding out I have rated quite a few beers on Delectable, a friend asked me if I'm one of those pompous jerks who writes insanely long reviews thinking people actually care about my opinion. In honor of this question: Me like Ruination 2.0. Heap good beer. Make tummy happy. Make tongue tingly. Now me go kill dinner.

Jun 17th, 2015Writing on the bottle is a bit over dramatic. But... A ruination that is accompanied by a full rich aroma with the look of a rose, count me in!!! Hit's ya like a freight train and cradles you like a baby letting you off from a punch in the mouth. I thank you for this double IPA... Professionals Only Apply!!!!!!!!!

This the New revamped version of Stone's Landmark Classic Double West Coast IPA, 2.0 It adds newer hops and picks up the ABV 8.5% because of the need to stand in the current market of big and hoppy IPA's these days, Stone decided to improve their classic beer, and yes it is a improvement, more tropical and cleaner malt, still bitter by most standards, hence the name, Until "Enjoy By" came about this was my favorite DIPA, Still a Great beer, and I do like the new hop profile, but as much as "Enjoy By" this is still just a big hop bomb, "Ruinten " is always the one to pick up ever year, but overall great that Gregg decided to do this, good choice, I am happy to still have this available all year long in its New improved version
