Seems much riper and with distinct R/S compared to older Stolpman bottlings.
Plenty of generous, cooked blackberry with some hints of herbs and tar. Not a lot of the violet/florals I would hope for given this level of PV in this.

Punctuating a row of B Day wines, up in Columbia county. No notes but juicy-black fruits, juicy mid palate. 80% Syrah, 20% petit Verdot. Balanced- not open knit like my only Cali Syrah reference point, Tensley.

Wry nice 80% Syrah, 20% Petit Verdot. Needs an hour or more of air, after that great black fruit and pepper. Buy @ $20 K&L.

Light, fruity. Leather finish. Drinkable, inoffensive, and lacking excitement.
