Have had Stolman in restaurants before ( David Chang?) so went with this Northern Rhone style Syrah- me thinks the frigid temps outside despite heat lamps accented the fruit/Nerviness but nonetheless at least I enjoyed it. Think less gamey but some of that gorgeous high toned N Rhone fruit. Really delicious. Outside meal with family, in Chelsea NYC

Showing very well right now. First day still bright and fresh dark red fruits. Next couple of days molded into a little more savory and earthy. Very solid bottle. Drink now or hold another couple years.

Seamless. Roast plum, confit raspberries, country ham, game juices. Dense, yet well-structured and long on the palate. Dry farming really beginning to show its value here.

Just amazing for such a young #syrah . Dark red and black fruit, some spice, a bit earthy. Wonderful mouth feel, delicate but very much alive. Stays for days.

Birthday dinner wine. Second time I've had it and what a difference some time and air makes. Cranberry and raspberry on the palate. Herbaceous and a little bitter mid palate with a very silky finish. Can see where others got the charred meat flavor. Great value! Can't wait to try in a few years.
