My wife likes unoaked Chardonnay but I prefer it with oak. This was her Mother's Day present and she liked it more than I did.

Don’t get this to sip on the patio: it’s almost in ripe in its greenness. But with a rich dish like our chicken piccata this was wonderful: it cut through and refreshed, with fruit and minerality.

Love the philosophy of Stoller- the higher up the price ladder we climb, the more oak & richness we get. So, this entry level bottling is a steely mineral Chablis-like effort. Perfect with a briny chicken piccata and the Budos Band.

A full bodied Chardonnay, particularly for one that is fermented entirely in stainless steel.
