One of the oldest if not ‘the’ oldest dry farmed Riesling vineyard in the country. In 1964, about 45 acres of white Riesling were planted. The San Andreas Fault runs through the vineyard. Great yet unusual Riesling. Quite honeyed yet dry and with high acidity sitting at 12.5%. Petrol, oregano and touch of bitterness makes this one of the most unique Rieslings in the country (world?). At peak, bought on release. Vines planted in the 60s. Great bottle of wine, different but on par with GGs. Joys of cellaring wine. The quiet work of Cali Riesling taken to perfection
