Sterling Reserve Napa Valley Red Bordeaux Blend

We get some crazy great old wines returned to us at K&L. The only thing wrong with this perfectly resolved, integrated, black fruit Cabernet was that a glass was missing from it. A treat!

Love a solid random bottle from the cellar. Still very much going, palate took a bit of time to open, nose spectacular from the first moment

Amazing flavor for 1985! Went well w/our beef bourguignon! Still strong & bold and happy we still have a few more bottles in our cellar!

2nd wine of the 1987 flight. Some fruit left in this one. Quite nice and drinkable.
