Doesn't look a bit of it's age. If this is the same as their Diamond Mountain Ranch CS (and I'm guessing that it is) then I've had the same stuff before, in 2009. It was a revelation then and it's a pure joy now. Harmonious and ever-changing layers of concentrated cassis, blackberry, mint, and earth are A Capella here in a lovely, resolved wine.

May 4th, 2017Still young, not peaking but surprising nonetheless (maybe my expectations were lower?) -- nose immediately brings raspberry and strong strawberry, along with plum notes. More tannic than I usually like but a nice blackberry on the finish was a welcome arrival.
