The acidity is too out of balance for my personal taste. Definitely more of a food wine.

Not usually a big fan of Cali pinots but this one is really nice. Not over the top to the point of being more like a Zin, good balance and flavor.

Restrained with solid acid core. Not terribly complex, but nice high tones

Settles in really nicely, light but gets richer and a little buttery with time.

Full bodied Pinot. Great with lamb. Great flavor, fruity, smooth.

I thoroughly enjoyed this pinot! Lovely wine from a lovely part of the world. You're getting a light oak, you're getting cherry pie and bit of that strawberry shortcake I really dig. I was very chuffed with this glass, and chatting to the winemaker/getting hit on by some fabulous Santa Barbara wine cougars was a real treat. That is how you should drink this pinot: with a time refined sense of class. - Ross Gardiner
