Rich, dark berries. Wish I had some venison to pair. Quite a robust Pinot.

Medium ruby , and medium pink rim. Quite open on the nose , wild strawberry , spiced red cherry , rose with some redcurrant , herbal undertones . On the palate , quite nice fresh red fruits , with the cherry and redcurrant , strawberry notes dominating . Touches of spices on the moderate finish . Balanced acidity and quite ripe and light tannin . Good to drink now and over the next 5-8 years .

Awesome. I was worried this would be cooked but it’s drinking beautifully

2005 vintage. Stefano Lubiana Pinot Noir, Tasmania. Medium ruby. Mulberry, prune, leather polish - very concentrated. There is some VA here. Fruit is extremely ripe and dried. Not obviously Pinot. On the palate, dried fruit, plum, sweet spice and some earthy / farmyard character, perhaps some slight rotten fruit notes. Light tannin. Medium plus acidity. Decent length. Very interesting. Not for everyone. But my first aged new world Pinot.
