A classic Carneros Pinot Noir. Aged perfectly. Still tight when opened, but it blossomed after about 35 minutes. Tasted at the Bacchus Group wine social on 2/27.

Pale ruby in color; cherries, dried herbs, and a little smoke on the nose; high acidity; low tannins; tastes like raspberries, pomegranates, hibiscus, and crushed gravel with a hint of cloves and a long finish. Nellie Iikes it and so do I.

v18. Nice. Soft, crushed black fruit and, smoked meat nose. Fresh, dark cherry fruit. Bright, earthy finish . Pretty good!

Balanced surprise…a smooth & graceful drinking Pinot from Carneros…med-full body dark berry flavored vino more reminiscent not of the light Sonoma Pinots but of big Russian River Pinots…not “there”, though. Perfect tannins, acidity, great valid at yes - Costco - from a winery unknown but perhaps shouldn’t be.
