Nov 5th, 2015Fifth #riesling in, decent and easy. I'll admit, the first glass was a little off-putting. Crazy balance, tart, and certainly in total disagreement with its 'semi-sweet' marking. However, opened up and balanced out over the next couple of days. Somewhat reminiscent of #HeinzEifelSpatlese (not quite as sweet, but more acid, especially as evidenced by the tartaric acid sediment I found at the end of the bottle). Not bad, would buy again now that I know it needs some airing out. #FiftyTwoRieslingsOneYear #WeekFive2015 #StarlingCastle
