Special wines for special occasions. Having this for Colin's 18th birthday. After two hours of decanting opening up nicely. Elegant and still firm structure, but also beautiful fruit and layered complexity. Still, I am surprised how firm the tannins are. This is a little less than hoped for.

A 2010! Smooth and soft and smoky, a perfect Napa cab. I definitely notice the difference in cabs that have aged a few years. The deep fruit is present but not sharp, and the whole mouth of the wine is smooth and harmonious. So excited I got to try this.
