Balanced and aromatic but wasn’t fruit forward. Bell peppers, dry gravel, blue berries. Not overwhelmingly acidic but it’s there. The texture and body were bigger than how the smooth and tamed tannin led on so it was a little surprise there. It’s a solid wine and I’d have it again!

Jan 28th, 2019A deserving wine for sure. This cabernet franc offers all you want in a quality red, and is only held back by its inability to transcend to the unmatchable complexity and depth offered by its more famous cousin varietal.
