Winemaker Series Battuelo Cabernet Sauvignon

Pleasantly surprised how delicious this is. Not able to identify this fruit. Fig? And floral notes. Violet? So drinkable.

Core of huckleberries & liquid violets. Blackberries, black plum, dark raspberries, raspberries, dark cherries, black licorice, black tea, backing spice, soft leather, touch of rosemary, dusty light soil, powdery lighter minerals. I liked this wine more than I scored it.

Blackberry liquor, coco powder, flint, leather. Medium grip and nice round mouthfeel

Amazing

Definitely a Stag’s family wine but not equivalent to a Fay or SLV. The dirt makes a difference. August 2018.
