Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, toasty vanilla and warm baking spice scents, aged in 35% new French oak. On the palate complex flavors of apricot, pineapple & lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A big Chardonnay. Pair this with a Striped Bass dressed in a puttanesca sauce topped with bitter watercress.

Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, floral, spice and citrus. On the palate apple, melon and peach flavors, with lemon zest, vanilla and toasty notes. Nice balance with bright acidity on long creamy finish, savory with spicy rich oaky mineral ending, very nice!

Thought this was gonna be an oak monster and was pleasantly surprised how restrained and balanced it was. Ripe pear and very slight tropics. Fresh and lifted on the palate with just a kiss of (neutral?) oak. Great value.

Stags Leap Manor, as it was called in the 1920s, was known as one of the prominent country retreats in the Napa Valley at a time when resort and spa business was big. Pale lemon stone fruit and citrus aromas and toasty yeasty notes. On the palate melon, pineapple and pear, fresh & crisp with notes of oak, a bit creamy. Long finish with wet stone and mineral character, well balanced, stays crisp on ending. Nice!

A good Chardonnay. Starts with subtle grapefruit flavors and finishes smoothly.
