I am afforded the opportunity to taste this selection from a close friend of mine. As you can see by the picture this bottle originally sold at $68 bones. Try and get that now, no way. The color is a dark garnet. The nose on this bottle is of black fruit, blackberries, eucalyptus, and licorice. The palate is bringing a melding of harmonious goodness. There is smoothing of the tannins and there still is tannin. A great mouth feel with black tea, black currant, an earthiness and a little mint on the backend. The finish lingers on even at this age. Very, very, nice.
