For the money, this is a pretty darned good Napa CS. It’s not overblown with oak, nor is it confected. Red currants, tobacco and just a touch of vanilla. IMO, this was a lot more enjoyable than the 2013 Jordan I tried the night before.

Lovely black fruit on the nose. Carries over onto the palate, with some smooth tannins and subtle vanilla/ oak. Excellent quality at the price !

Drinking the 2014 Cabernet, and loving the deep oak, and currant flavor. Very smooth finish, at least for me.

St Supery cab from rutherford 2014. Its a great cali cab. What can I say. Must be decanted for at least 30 minutes to clear the sourness on the finish. Big bold dry cab! Lots of fruit finished off with oak and earth.
