Dollarhide Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This is first and foremost a delicious wine, full of ripe blackberry, black cherry, cassis and plum with secondary aromas and flavors of vanilla, cedar and clove. Dried violet and freshly-turned earth show it is developing beautifully in the bottle. The Tannins are plush and velvety and beautifully balance the fruit, the firm acidity and the 14.5% alcohol. This is a terrific bottle with great finesse and can certainly last a decade or more.

This has plenty of years ahead. Fruit is still completely primary. Give it 10 years.

2007 vintage. Blueberry and blackberry with leather, tobacco, and rutherford dust. Slightly drying tannins, this will hold for several more years.

v14. Consistently amazing wine. Intense purple color. Soft, rolled tobacco nose. Rich, deep, black currant fruit. Smooth, long, slightly astringent, black pepper, mocha, and leather finish. Nicely balanced.

Loved it. Great fruity taste to start with a mellow terroir finish. Great with steak and just by itself

Cherry bomb! Juicy and easy to drink. Not a lot of finesse, but delicious just the same.
