Gorgeous. Simply beautiful. Elegant Pinot from an elegant vintage. 2011 was a tough vintage. Heavy fruit set from an uneventful spring leading into the coldest summer in 40 years. Coupling that with early for rains made it suck to be a farmer/winemaker. So I hear...
floral, delicate rose petal and cinnamon aromas begin this romantic gondola ride. Dried fig, earthy dark cherry and very well integrated, expensive French oak layer the tongue quite happily. Begs for another sip...

Cherry, mint, woodsy spice and oak. Nice body and texture. Oak showing a bit.

Floral with great red berries and a bit of earth tones on the finish. A nice find. Worth seeking out

A truly stunning wine from a challenging growing season. I'm very much enjoying the earth, mushroom, forest floor, herbal notes coming out of RRV Pinot's coming out of the 2011 vintage. 13.2%

Wow, great, if not a bit young. Very floral on the nose, red berries and figs on the drink and a sustained finish. Glad I bought a few to let it settle in for a year or two, should be great!
