Really great value Riesling! Nose gives off candied lime & lemon curd along with some tropical fruit aromas. This is not a fruit bomb, more subtle / less extraction w/stoniness mingled in... decently smooth on mid-palate, but lacking that snappy acidity. Played well with mild Indian food.

Apr 5th, 2020Just starting into German Rieslings. This one is very pale straw. Fill up a glass and enjoy the enticing creamy nose of white flower pedals and mineral, with a note of lime/grapefruit lightening it up. Let me just say it: this is crazy drinkable. Light juicy body, faint effervescence, a touch of sweetness, and acid firmly keeping things crisp and controlled. The palate and finish bloom with creamy citrus and a textbook Riesling blend of tropical, white blossoms and limestoney mineral. I wouldn't say this $9 bottle is earth-shatteringly complex or deep, but it is really pleasant to drink, and delivers a serious balance of the flavors that make Riesling one of the great grapes. I currently know of no better porch pounder for under $10.

Jun 2nd, 2016Crisp sweet and tart. Everything a Riesling should be. Trevor would be proud. His pretzels are better than the ones here too.
