Drank 6/13/19. Tasting event. Tasting pour.
Lighter on the nose than many tasted tonight. Red fruit and a bit of black cherry scents. Soft and velvety with raspberry, black cherry, and BlackBerry. Medium tannins and finish.
Special note: this is the heaviest wine bottle I have ever felt.

The proprietary red blend is a multi-layered complex compared to other labels of this winery. The blend composition comprises; 61% Cab Sauv, 35% Cab Franc, 4% Petite Verdot, which all combined offers abundance of baked red fruits, licorice, and lusciously silky. Some velvety notes and plenty of tannins offers a great mouthfeel. Long but not so overwhelming finish.

Loved the acidity and how the whole package of descriptors dance on the palate. Drink now or all the way to 2027

The finish on this wine makes SURE you don't miss the Rutherford dust, as it is ABUNDANT. For someone wanting to learn about Classic Napa and, further, classic Rutherford wine, **THIS** is the wine to serve. This wine is right on par with Wm. Harrison for Rutherford gem deluxe. And crafted in the nuclear style. This one can hold for 20 years easily. Well done Raymond and Steve. Fantstic Napa cab.
