Jun 10th, 2016I'm not going to lie: sometimes I pick a wine by its label. This wine pleasantly surprised me. Always a fan of the clean, refreshing Sauvignon Blancs of Marlborough. I believe this label is part of the Matua family. Green apple and kiwi, with plenty of citrus and bright acidity - reminded me at times of Welch's white grape juice, too, but in a good way. Goes down very easily, and more complex than the Matua. Not sure it's quite worth the added price to pick it over the Matua on a regular basis, but If you're looking for an easy sipper with a bit more dimension, this is a good choice.
