This took about a day to open. This seems less extracted than other well known Napa Cab producers. Dark. Black cassis, blueberry, blackberry, touch of leather and cinnamon on the nose. Tannins are still holding on, but smoothed our. Acidity fading into the back. Similar dark black fruit with tree bark and a touch of leather on the palate, a hint of dark chocolate tickles the back of the tongue. It’s nice with a steak and cherry salad.
