An Australian blend of shiraz, mataro and Grenache, powerful and sunny. Deep purple almost black, an explosive nose of black cherries, cloves, sweet spices, plum marmalade, full body, thick rich and jammy, with smooth tannins and light acidity, long powerful finish. A true fruit forward wine, with a touch of old world. My score 89, drink to 2018

Jun 4th, 2015Floral, savoury spice and plum. Very enticing. Pallet is excellent, rich fruit, white pepper, dusty cedar and an excellent texture. Good oak restraint. ~80/20 Shiraz/Mataro.
