Floral, savoury spice and plum. Very enticing. Pallet is excellent, rich fruit, white pepper, dusty cedar and an excellent texture. Good oak restraint. ~80/20 Shiraz/Mataro.

Cocoa, coffee, dark chocolate, tobacco, prunes and plums. Beautiful deep purple color, medium + complexity, delicious. Powerful, savage, brooding, like a hungry bear. If you like the northern Rhône, I highly recommend this pour because this '02 omitted the Grenache. In Portland with the Bachmans.
