Juhfark!!!!!! Holding up beautifully as it converges towards the strange attractor that is the heart and soul of Somloi wines - liquid volcanic stones. Still offering a whisp of bee pollen and chamomile along with its rainwater and wet chalkboard core. #govolcanic

Super interesting! Dry and savory with a deep mineral richness!! More pleasurable when tempered, don't drink to cold 🙅🏽‍♂️

Acid is there, but expected more complexity from past experiences with the grape. When opened, reeked of oak. Tasted, decanted, drank over the course of four hours, never showed much more than what it offered initially. Orange blossom, almond extract, oak influence.

Probably should have held onto this one a while, but it's just too good to wait. Perfect with tonight's cheese course. Pollen, honey, preserved citrus, and wet stones.

Could there be a better pork belly wine? With some cabbage sautéed in pork fat, it's actually necessary...

Skvallrade om Ungern blint. Aromatiskt med en blommig och zestig smak.

Whoa. Fascinating, intense in all kinds of ways. Botrytis, but also with an acidity that doesn't normally come along for the ride. Find it at Bar Tartine soon, but don't drink it all before I get there, ok?
