One of my favorite wines that never disappoints. Rich dark and full flavored. This wine I love drinking with and/or without a meal. Wines made from Howell Mountain grapes offer exceptional ripe wines and Spence is full of dark fruit. If I could have a choice I would always choose a wine from Howell Mountian.

Solid and spicy. Full bodied and a lot of depth as expected from howell mountain. Fruit hiding at first behind earthy and tobacco. After some time in the decanter the fruit emerged and this wine really improved with air. Would highly recommend 2+ hour decant.
