What a great wine. But the nose is a bit closed upon opening. Slate, pineapple, citrus, peach, blood orange, super pure and clean, lovely nuance and subtlety. Juicy and super closed on the palate. Will come back to this. It’s all there but very closed.

Apr 19th, 2019Honeyed nose. Decadent. Apple butter, spices, mulling spices, mineral, slate, very airy, juicy and so complex with vibrant aprciot and tangerine fruit. White cherries on the nose after a while. Palate is fresh and dense with clarity and deep structure. Lots of finesse. Great stuff. Very impressive.

@delectable this is the reserve Not what I expected. Nose is mineral with some lovely lemon skin. Lemon flowers too. Lovely aromatics. Palate is intense delicious lemon with some Meyer lemon. Very mineral. Great fruit. Really Delicious. Long mineral finish. Bought from Fass Selections.
