Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Round, dark fruits

So Sparrow Hawk just launched a line of reserve wines with the 15 vintage. This cab is a nice step up from their standard line up. Elegant and powerful but with a lot of structure. Very good.

This is a great wine for the price. Let it decant for an hour plus and it’s probably the best one I had at this price.

Wine 2 at aunt Paula’s house. A little more acidic than I like but a very round, buttery aftertaste which is nice.

Delicious notes on the nose and dark berries and oak on the palate. Smooth. Enjoyed outside a cool summer night in the east bay with grilled meats.

Fruit forward, very smooth. Drinking with Rafael in Menlo Park.

Smooth, oaky, fruity but not too sweet. Very nice.
