Cottá Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Quite fab!

Closed at first. Began to express more after a solid decant. No surprise there. Delicate fruit aromas within a frame of earth and spice. Lots of tension in this wine, needs a few more years to hit its stride.

This was consistent with my prior notes from a producer I have been buying since 2014.

This had lots of sweet chewy red fruits, dried herbs, floral spices, tar, licorice & rose petal. Really open & expressive with racy acid & good length.

Elegant & floral with a silky texture in a transparent style. Delicious!
