Nice wine and tasting this in 2016 was a treat on Halloween. Although beginning to show age, Ruby with aromas of fresh fruit, cranberry and cherries with cinnamon and vanilla spice. The wine is silky smooth, with rich fruit flavors of berry/cherry, balanced acidity and fine tannins. Noted cedar and tobacco on the lingering finish. Well Done and aged nicely but time to drink up if you have a bottle; If you cannot find a 2008 vintage, look for a current vintage, will not disappoint.

Haven't had much from Russian river valley and the age made this a bottle I couldn't pass. It's big, yet the fruit is tart and there is a lot of acid at work. Pomegranates and sour cherries. Spicy, probably from oak. Apparently this was one of the earlier harvests (2008) and the ripeness shows in this wine. Not bad

I have to say I was really excited for this, but it didn't live up to the hype for me. Pretty one dimensional. Spicy with a bit of fruit but overall there just wasn't anything drawing me back in for another sip. Felt a bit thin actually. Good but many better wines at the same price or less.

Deep flavor, light tannin. Red Sonoma Cutrer uncommon in Oh. Found on clearance rack, may not find again.

Had it on the second day after being open... Nice nose with a little wet earth, forest floor.... Dark fruit, nice black pepper with a long dry finish

Loved it. Have spent much more on wines I liked half as much.
