Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berries and sweet spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry with licorice, vanilla, cedar and cinnamon. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, lively acidity, good structure, ending with fruit, cedar and earthy spice. Nice!

On the palate sweet cherry and raspberry flavors, light in body, fine layered spice, cola and oak, a little more pronounced that recent vintages. Soft fine tannins, great mouthfeel, well balanced ending with slight earthy character. Very Nice! Consistent quality.

Feb 28th, 2018Nice wine and tasting this in 2016 was a treat on Halloween. Although beginning to show age, Ruby with aromas of fresh fruit, cranberry and cherries with cinnamon and vanilla spice. The wine is silky smooth, with rich fruit flavors of berry/cherry, balanced acidity and fine tannins. Noted cedar and tobacco on the lingering finish. Well Done and aged nicely but time to drink up if you have a bottle; If you cannot find a 2008 vintage, look for a current vintage, will not disappoint.
