Sojourn
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, USA

Tasted Sojourn's '14 Pinots and immediately contacted the winery and begged for their entire lineup. For Pinot lovers, I cannot rave enough about this Sonoma Coast at only $39 (every Pinot drinker should have a couple cases at their house), all the way to the Gap's Crown, which is an amazing bottle for $59

1 person found it helpfulJun 16th, 2016The nose hints at sweet cherry jam, But the palate is both Bing and maraschino. A little pleasant pine in the aftertaste, which isn't quite long enough. Solid effort though.

Delicious. The perfect thanksgiving pairing. Beautifully soft and fragrant aromatics, rose petal and cranberry. Silky smooth mouthfeel, you'd hardly know it was alcohol. Perfect balance and weight.. couldn't be more pleased with my choice for thanksgiving.

This was excellent.. Gorgeous fruit core, and seemless layering of tannins & complexities, deep lush fruit including blackberry jam and dark cherries, clove and nutmeg spices, and such an inviting nose. The finish is impactful and everlasting, definitely a Cab lover's Pinot and fantastic with foods. It's not often I find a wine, let alone a Pinot, that I could drink often, but I could definitely make some room in my collection for this guy. Drinking now, but will most definitely develope over the next 5 or 10 years. Bravo Sojourn! #sojourn

Young and bit aggressive, but you can tell that this will soften in a few years. The fruit is very evident but not overwhelmingly sweet. I think it will ease. This is a young wine in a great vintage. Oh, Baxter is fired up for a Friday.

Mar 11th, 2017Easy sipping 2014 Sonoma Coast Pinot from one of my favorite producers. Medium-bodied with bright red and blue fruits and a nice finish. Nice now, probably better in a year or so.
