Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Not sure about this wine. Tastes like a generic red, not much identifiable PN characteristics. Kinda hot and bleh too. A shame.

The nose has notes of cranberry, Italian plums, forest floor and hickory. Nice dark ruby color with magenta hues along the edge. A subtle start with red fruit flavors. Not too tannic but a well rounded mouth feel. A smooth velvet finish.

Tasted this around 6 months ago. It appears to have evolved to a better place.
Nose is characterized with bing cherries, cloves and all spice. The palette is expansive with hints of charcoal, tobacco, cinnamon and dark stone fruits. It finishes with a good tannic structure, and bright acidity. Very enjoyable.

Burgundian in style with a bit more cherry flavors up front. Elegant.

Drink now.. not much life left in this but still good!

Red fruit, clove, cinnamon. Acid more integrated than last time. Very good value.

A very solid value. Lots of red fruit up front, some anise and the spice lingers despite the thin mouth feel.

Good. Seemed a little flabby but enjoyable with plenty of fruit

2012. Strong flavors of cherry, vanilla, raspberry, licorice. Showed well against other pinots at July 2015 pinot tasting.

Very fruit forward, but evolves through cherry with a touch of spice and earth.
