Am I missing something? It’s a good wine, but at the price it should be better. Maybe I’m just grumpy tonight. Tasted the 2016.

1 hr decant, but tested throughout. Opened up and changed quite a bit over that time. 👃 is cherry, earth, and a little barnyard. Cherry, char, iodine, and plum in the mouth. There’s a lot to love, but there are a couple notes that protrude and break up the balance. Almost sexy.
