A nice dark red color with a light red rim and medium intensity.
Strong nose of plums, licorice, cranberry juice, green peppers, oak, cherries, currants, chocolates, metals, dirt, vegetables and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, bitter herbs, vegetables, green pepper, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices and peppercorn.
Medium finish with smooth, round tannins and black pepper.
An earthy Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon that drinks nicely now, while still young. Simple, but with a personality. Had it by itself, and it will work well with chicken dishes too. Will be better in a couple of years, though.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
