Napa Valley Cabernet Franc

Smooth dark fruit on the nose. A controlled green aroma.

Decadent nose of vanilla raspberry spiciness with provincial herbs lingering. Dry tannin up front balanced by a juicy shot of acidity on the finish. Solid fruit presence but the peppery 2011 vintage is more my style.

So good, would get again. Kevin’s wine club. Didn’t realize what bottle we picked and then we were like “WOAH THATS GOOD”

Portland city grill

Green pepper, damp grass. Some red fruit. Medium finish. Very nice.

Nice fruity mid sweet with a little character and mild spice

This wine does not make it to day two based on other comments. It only lasted a little over an hour with us. I am partial to cab franc.

Surprisingly better than I expected. Nice, nice. Pungent dark fruits on the nose, licorice. Soft, sweet tannins. Good mid-palate, good length. Fun ending of pepper. Really good.
Edit: day two and three were not as good, betraying the quality perhaps. Day three turned heavy-handed with the alcohol. Also, I noticed that it's too sweet. Needs another player.
