On the Nose, sweet sherry, brandy, dark roast coffee, burnt wood, cherries, vanilla, Indian spices, caramel, burnt rubber and sweet candy.
Full-bodied and creamy with high acidity and nice legs.
Sweet on the attack and tangy mid palate, with blackberries, black currant, raisins, figs, caramel, citrus, cherries and limes.
Long finish with tart cherries, tangy lemon, spices and peppercorn.
Not too sweet and well balanced, with a tangy feel. Could be a Nice dessert all by itself. A Smooth and soft mouthfeel, and elegant with a spicy ending.

Feb 1st, 2021This was my first Port experience, and whether this particular bottle bottle is a good one or not, I'm hooked. Enjoyed as a dessert, on its own. Tasted like sweet raisins and dried cranberries, some red fruit, and maybe a little chocolate.
